Sideline privacy policy
Last updated: September 17, 2026
Sideline doesn’t collect any personal information.
- Everything you enter (team names, player names and numbers, games and minutes) is stored only on your device. None of it is sent to the developer or anyone else.
- There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising networks and no tracking.
- The app shows a small banner for the developer’s own book and website. To decide when to show it, the app counts today’s minutes of use, and that count stays on your device. Tapping the banner opens the page in your browser; the app doesn’t record whether you saw or tapped it. Websites you visit have their own privacy policies.
- If you export a CSV file or send a team file, it goes only where you choose to share it, using your phone’s share sheet. A team file contains the team’s name, its players’ names and numbers, and their minutes.
- Deleting the app deletes all of its data.
- The browser version at benjaminshiller.com/sideline/app keeps your teams in your browser’s own storage on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, and clearing the site’s data in your browser removes it.
